La Marsa or al-Marsa (Arabic: المرسى) is a coastal toun in far northeastren Tunisie near the caipital Tunis. It is locatit at aroond 36°52′35″N 10°19′31″E / 36.87639°N 10.32528°E. The population is estimatit as 65,742, as o 2006. The auld simmer caipital o pre-colonial Tunisie, it is theday a popular vacation spot for mony middle class Tunisians.
It is connectit tae Tunis bi the TGM railway. Gammarth is adjacent tae La Marsa further up the coast.
