Samara Oblast
Samara Oblast (Roushie: Сама́рская о́бласть, Samarskaya oblast) is a federal subject o Roushie (an oblast). It is locatit in the Volga Federal Destrict. Its admieenistrative center is the ceety o Samara. In 1936–1990, it wis kent as Kuybyshev Oblast (Ку́йбышевская о́бласть), efter the Soviet name o Samara (Kuybyshev).
