Tver Oblast (Roushie: Тверска́я о́бласть, Tverskaya oblast) is a federal subject o Roushie (an oblast). Its admeenistrative center is the ceety o Tver. Frae 1935 tae 1990, it wis namit Kalinin Oblast (Кали́нинская о́бласть) efter Mikhail Kalinin. Population: 1,353,392 (2010 Census).[5]
