History
[eedit | eedit soorce]The first recordit dounset in the aurie occurred on 6 Mey 1910, an the toun wis offeecially recognisit bi the Provincial Legislatur on 27 Julie 1964. The Villa Martelli Airmy Barracks wur the steid o a militar mutiny in 1988 bi a richt-wing Carapintadas faction led bi Col. Mohamed Alí Seineldín. The barracks wur later closed, an in 2011, a portion o the extensive lot became the steid o the Tecnópolis exposition fairgrund.[1]
