İzmir Province (Turkis: İzmir ili) is a province o Turkey in wastren Anatolie on the Aegean coast, whose caipital is the ceety o İzmir. On the wast it is surroondit bi the Aegean sea, an it encloses the Gulf o İzmir. Its aurie is 11,973 km.2, population 3.948.848 (2010 tüik census). Neighbourin provinces are Balıkesir on the north, Manisa on the east, an Aydın on the sooth. The traffeck code o the province is 35.
