Kırşehir Province (Turkis: Kırşehir ili) is locatit in central Turkey, formin pairt o the central Anatolie region. It staunds on the North Anatolie Fault, an is currently in an yirdquauk warnin zone. It became a province in 1924. On 30 Mey 1954, it wis acceptit as a destrict o Nevşehir. Later, the touns o Kırşehir wur dividit atween Ankara, Yozgat an Nevşehir. In 1957, Kırşehir became a province again.
