The Tekirdağ Province (Turkis: Tekirdağ ili, pronounced [teˈkiɾdaː]) is in Trakya (Thrace), the northwastren pairt o Turkey. The caipital ceety is Tekirdağ. It is famous for its meatbaw cried "Tekirdağ köfte" an the Turkis alcoholic drink cried Tekirdağ rakısı.
