Balkh Province
Balkh (Persian / Pashto: بلخ) is ane o the thirty-fower provinces o Afghanistan. It is in the north o the kintra an its name derives frae the auncient ceety o Balkh, near the modren toun. Its caipital is Mazar-i-Sharif.
