Rājasthān /ˈrɑːdʒəstæn/ (Hindustani pronunciation: [raːdʒəsˈt̪ʰaːn] ( listen)) the land o Rajasthanis, ("the land o keengs"), is the lairgest state o the Republic o Indie bi aurie. It is locatit in the northwast o Indie. It encompasses maist o the aurie o the muckle, inhospitable Great Indie Desert (Thar Desert), which haes an edge parallelin the Sutlej-Indus river valley alang its border wi Pakistan. Rajasthan covers 10.4% o Indie, an aurie o 342,269 square kilometre (132,151 sq mi).
