Roviano is a comune (municipality) in the Province o Roum in the Italian region Lazio, locatit aboot 45 km northeast o Roum.
Roviano borders the follaein municipalities: Anticoli Corrado, Arsoli, Cineto Romano, Mandela, Marano Equo, Riofreddo. It is hame tae polygonal waws datin tae the late Aequi age, or tae the early Roman domination. It haes a brig datin tae the reign o Nerva an aw, ower which the via Valeria crossed the Aniene river.
Ither sichts include the castle, biggit bi the abbots o Subiaco, the medieval burgh o Rovianello (destroyed bi Muzio Colonna in 1585-1590), the 14t century Porta Scaramuccia ("Skirmish Gate").
