Kumlinge is a municipality consistin o a group o islands in Åland, an autonomous territory o Finland. Kumlinge, which is the name o the lairgest island in the group an aw, means "rocky passage."
The municipality haes a population o 315 (31 Januar 2019)[2] an covers an aurie o 865.88 square kilometre (334.32 sq mi) o which 761.12 km2 (293.87 sq mi) is watter.[1] The population density is 3.17 inhabitants per square kilometre (8.2/sq mi).
89.2% o the population is Swadish-speakin, 6.1% is Finnish-speakin, an 4.7% speak ither leids.[6]
The Kumlinge Airfield is situatit on the main island.

In the 20t century the population o Kumlinge slowly began tae decline.
