Beit Yashout (Arabic: بيت ياشوط‎) is a toun in northwastren Sirie, admeenistratively pairt o the Jableh Destrict o the Latakia Govrenorate, an locatit sooth o Latakia. Nearbi localities include Ayn al-Sharqiyah tae the wast an al-Daliyah tae the sooth. Accordin tae the Sirie Central Bureau o Statistics, Beit Yashout haed a population o 6,115 in the 2004 census.[1] The toun is locatit in the An-Nusayriyah muntains at an elevation o aroond 500 m (1,700 ft).

Beit Yashout is ane o the settlements inhabitit bi the Alawite Hadadeen tribe, tae which umwhile first lady Aniseh Makhluf belangit.[2] Housomeivver, the veelage wis a traditional hame o the Bani Ali clan, Alawite an aw.[3] Beit Yashout is the hametoun o Muhammad al-Khuli, a prominent militar offeecial in Baathist govrenments in the 1960s an throughoot umwhile preses Hafez al-Assad's time in office (1970-2000).[4]
