Mashqita (Arabic: مشقيتا) is a toun in northwastren Sirie, admeenistratively pairt o the Latakia Govrenorate, locatit north o Latakia. Nearbi localities include Ayn al-Bayda, Al-Shamiyah an Burj Islam tae the wast, al-Bahluliyah tae the east an Mushayrafet al-Samouk tae the soothwast. Accordin tae the Sirie Central Bureau o Statistics, Mashqita haed a population o 2,376 in the 2004 census.[1]
