Aramo (Arabic: آرامو, Aramo, Armenie: Արամօ, Aramo) is a Sirie veelage locatit in Latakia Govrenorate north wast o the kintra. Aramo is juist 30 km frae the Mediterranean sea. Accordin tae the Sirie Central Bureau o Statistics, Aramo haed a population o 490 in the 2004 census.[1]

The toun haes an auld Armenie kirk cried Saunt Stepanos built in 1310. It staunds in the middle o the veelage. Thare are some sma kirks carvit in the rocks such as Surp Asdvadzadzin an Surp Kevork Armenie Apostolic kirks. The Alawite Arabs uise those twa kirks on a regular basis.
Nouadays, thare is a sma nummer o Armenie inhabitants in Aramo, maist o whom speak the Arabic leid.
