The 2018 Scottish Open (kent for sponsorship raisons as the BetVictor Scottish Open) wis professional rankin snooker toornament, thon teuk place frae 10 til 16 December 2018 at the Emirates Arena i Glesga, Scotland.^[1] It wis the tenth rankin event o the 2018/2019 saison an a pairt o the Home Nations Series.

The toornament wis won bi Mark Allen wha beat Shaun Murphy i the feenal. Allen lit 6–3 but then Murphy won fower frames i a row tae tak a 7–6 lead. Allen, houiver, won the neist three frames tae win 9–7.^[2]

Neil Robertson wis the defendin champion, but he lost 2–4 tae Ross Muir in the seicont roond. John Higgins made the ninth maximum brak o his career i the third frame o his seicont roond veectory ower Gerard Greene.^[3]
