Punata is a province amaist in the middle o the Cochabamba Depairtment, Bolivie, locatit aboot 45 km sooth o the ceety o Cochabamba. Its caipital is Punata. The province is limitit tae the north bi the Chapare Province, tae the northeast bi the Tiraque Province, tae the east bi the Arani Province, tae the sootheast bi the Mizque Province, tae the sooth bi the Esteban Arze Province an tae the wast bi the Germán Jordán Province.

Its airchaeological an historical steids are the main interest for foreign tourists.
