The violence in Cordoba became hivily publiscidit when twa varsity students frae Bogotá wur assassinatit bi drog runners while takkin photos on a Caribbean beach in Januar 2011,[5] awtho critics pynt oot that the killins o afro-Colombies an indigenous fowk aften go bi unnotit bi the media.[3]
