Pairishes o Andorrae

Andorrie is makit o seiven commonties kent as pairishes (Catalan: parròquies, singular – parròquia). Till recently, it haed anely sax pairishes; the seivent, Escaldes-Engordany, wis creatit in 1978.
Some pairishes hae a further territorial subdivision. Ordino, La Massana an Sant Julià de Lòria are subdividit intae quarts (quairters), whilk Canillo is subdividit intae 10 veïnats (neebourheids). Those maistly coincide wi veelages, that are foond in aw pairishes.
Ilka pairish haes its ain electit mayor wha is the nominal heid o the local govrenment kent as a comú in Catalan.
