The Municipality o Miren–Kostanjevica (Slovene: Občina Miren - Kostanjevica, Italian: Comune di Merna Castagnevizza) is a municipality in wastren Slovenie, on the border wi Italy. It is pairt o the Goriška region o the Slovenie Littoral. The municipality's main dounsets are Miren an Kostanjevica na Krasu. Miren is locatit in the lawest pairt o the Vipava Valley.[2]

Historically, the aurie wis connectit wi the neebourin veelage o Savogna d'Isonzo (Slovenie: Sovodnje ob Soči), which wis left in Italy efter the Paris Peace Treaty o Februar 1947.
