Folks here are looking for existing topics that are more of interest to Scots speakers get expanded with more article content in fluent Scots instead.

We've got a George H. W. Bush article that's lacking a lot of content if ye must do edits about him. I don't really have feelings one way or another on the article. I just find it odd that they have an article here but not on enwiki, and because the article was pretty much in English when I saw it I just assumed the article was created on the wrong wiki or something (I didn't know about the Anglicization of the article). Scots ability

It's clear that you're very enthusiastic and you've been very prolific over the past few days which is commendable in its own right, but with all respect your ability in Scots leaves a lot to be desired. You're mostly writing in English with some superficial Scottish spellings and the occasional Scots expression, and you're using a lot of those incorrectly. You’re even using Middle Scots in some places, and I shouldn’t need to tell you why that isn’t really appropriate. These sorts of word-for-word "translations" with lacking vocabulary and no regard for Scots idiom or grammar are what caused all the difficulty with Scots Wikipedia in the first place. I’d like to ask as politely as I can that you refrain from creating any more articles or making any substantial edits until you have a better grasp of the language. There are plenty of resources out there that could help you out. You seem to have a particular interest in Northern Ireland so on that score I'd recommend Ian James Parsley's Ulster Scots: A Short Reference Grammar and James Fenton's The Hamely Tongue. More generally speaking I'd also recommend getting yourself William Lorimer's translation of the New Testament, as well as David Purves' A Scots Grammar and a copy of the Concise Scots Dictionary.

You can absolutely still contribute in other ways. There's a lot else that needs fixing up apart from the language. The formatting and citations in your articles are by far the best I’ve seen here. As you've probably seen yourself the Wiki is a bit lacking in that regard, so if you could help out in those areas I'm sure it would be very much appreciated by everyone, and there'd be nothing stopping you from getting back to creating articles once your Scots improves.
