Parkano is a toun an municipality in Finland.
It is locatit 84 kilometre (52 mi) north o Tampere in the province o Wastren Finland, an is pairt o the Pirkanmaa region. The population o Parkano is 6,236 (Februar 28, 2023)[2] an the municipality covers an aurie o 852.16 km2 (329.02 sq mi) o which 57.50 km2 (22.20 sq mi) is inland watter (Januar 1, 2018).[1] The population densitie is 7.32/km2 (19.0/sq mi).
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
