Kehtna is a smaw burgh (Estonie: alevik) in Rapla Coonty, in central Estonie, locatit aboot 9 km (6 mi) sootheast o the toun o Rapla. Ither nearbi dounsets include Keava, Kaerepere an Lelle. Kehtna is the admeenistrative centre o Kehtna Pairish. It haes a population o 1,674 (as o 1 Januar 2012).[2]
Kehtna Manor wis first mentioned in 1470 as Kectel an in 1485 as Hof Kechtenal. The Early-Classicist main biggin wis biggit in the 1790s. Efter a fire in 1905, it wis rebiggit in 1906–10 an gained its current Baroque leuk. The manor is surroondit bi a 5-hectare (12-acre) muckle pairk wi a variet collection o shrubs.[1]
