Amazonas (Portuguese pronunciation: [amaˈzõnɐs][footnote 1]) is a state o Brazil, locatit in the northwastren corner o the kintra. It is the lairgest Brazilian state bi aurie an the 9t lairgest kintra subdiveesion in the warld.
