Galeana is baith a municipality an a ceety in the Mexican state o Nuevo León. It is namit efter Hermenegildo Galeana, a lieutenant involvit in the kintra's muivement towards unthirldom. Galeana shares borders wi the states o Coahuila an San Luis Potosí tae the wast; wi the municipalities o Aramberri an Doctor Arroyo tae the sooth; Rayones tae the north; an wi Linares, Montemorelos, Rayones an Iturbide tae the east [1]. Galeana is the lairgest municipality in the state, totalin 7,154.6 km², housomeivver it's scarcely populatit wi anerlie 38,930 inhabitants [2] resultin in a population density o 0.18 persons per square kilometer. Galeana, the municipal seat, is the best developit toun in the region. It haes services such as hospitals, accommodations, restaurants, bars an the lairgest drink distributor in the zone. Probably the best kent attraction is the Cerro del Potosí (Potosi's Munt), the heichest muntain in the whole state, which rises ower 3,600 meters abuin sea level. On the Rayones-Galeana heich-gate lees El Puente de Dios (God's Brig), a majestic natural airchwa that lees on top o a sma creek. El Pozo del Gavilán is an enormous, profoond natural cenote, where diverse species live. The Laguna de Labradores, in the caipital, is a sma lake connectit tae the Pozo del Gavilán.
