The Federation wis creatit bi the Washington accords signed on 18 Mairch 1994, which established a constituent assembly that continued its wirk till October 1996. It uised tae hae its awn airmy, the Airmy o the Federation o Bosnie an Herzegovinae, though alang wi the Airmy o the Republika Srpska it wis fully integratit intae Airmit Forces o Bosnie an Herzegovinae, controlled bi the Meenistry o Defence o Bosnie an Herzegovinae, on 6 Juin 2006.

[eedit | eedit soorce]The Inter-Entity Boundary Line (IEBL) that distinguishes Bosnie an Herzegovinae's twa entities essentially runs alang the military front lines as they existit at the end o the Bosnie War, wi adjustments (maist importantly in the wastren pairt o the kintra an aroond Sarajevo), as defined bi the Dayton Agreement. The total length o the IEBL is approximately 1,080 km. The IEBL is an admeenistrative demarcation an no controlled bi the military or polis an there is free muivement athort it.
