Clermont-Ferrand (French pronunciation: [klɛʀmɔ̃ fɛʀɑ̃], Auvergnat Occitan: Clarmont-Ferrand / Clarmont d'Auvèrnha) is a ceety an commune o Fraunce, in the Auvergne region, wi a population o 141,000 (2011). Its metropolitan aurie haed 463 891 indwallers at the 1999 census. It is the prefectur (caipital) o the Puy-de-Dôme depairtment. Serge Godard is the current Mayor o the ceety.
