Bitlis Province (Turkis: Bitlis ili ) is a province o eastren Turkey, locatit tae the wast o Lake Van.

Bitlis wis formit as an admeenistrative destrict in the 17t Century. The administrative center is the toun o Bitlis (Kurdish: Bidlîs, Armenie: Բիթլիս), which wis cried Baghesh.
