Beylagan (Beyləqan) is a rayon o Azerbaijan, wi the caipital ceety being Beylagan. The 5th century Armenie historian Moses o Chorene states that this name is frae the Persie name Payda-gharan (پایداقاران), that its meanin is no clear , but "-an" in the last section means "place o " in Persie.
