Volovets (Ukrainian: Воловець) is an urban-teep dounset in Zakarpattia Oblast (province) in wastren Ukraine.[2] The toun is the admeenistrative centre o the Volovets Raion (destrict) an aw, hoosin the destrict's local admeenistration biggins. The toun's population wis 5,178 as o the 2001 Ukrainian Census[2] an 4,961 in 2022.[3]

Steids
[eedit | eedit soorce]Frae the 1850s, when Volovets wis pairt o Austrick-Hungary, the toun haed a ski ramp. The ramp wis uised bi Emperor Franz Joseph I when he an his faimily came tae visit in 1862.[4]
