Targovishte Province (Bulgarie: Област Търговище, transliterated Oblast Targovishte, umwhile name Targovishte okrug) is a province in northeastren Bulgarie, namit efter its main ceety - Targovishte. As o December 2009, it haes a population o 129,675 inhabitants.[2][3][4]

[eedit | eedit soorce]The Targovishte province haed a population o 137,689 accordin tae a 2001 census, of which 49.2% wur male an 50.8% wur female.[7] As o the end o 2009, the population o the province, annooncit bi the Bulgarie Naitional Statistical Institute, numbered 129,675[2] of which 24.1% are inhabitants aged over 60 years.[8]
