Pori (Swadish: Björneborg) is a ceety an municipality on the wast coast o Finland. The ceety is locatit some 15 kilometre (9 mi) frae the Guwf o Bothnie, on the estuary o the Kokemäenjoki river, which is the lairgest in Finland. It wis established in 1558 by John III (Finnish: Juhana III or Juhana-herttua). Pori is the maist important ceety in the Satakunta region.
