Kirsty Leigh Coventry (born 16 September 1983 in Harare, Zimbabwe) is a Zimbabwean swimmer an umwhile warld record holder. She attendit an swam competitively for Auburn University in Alabama, in the Unitit States.[4] At the 2004 Simmer Olympics, in Athens, Greece, Coventry wan three Olympic medals: a gowd, a siller, an a bronze,[5] while in the 2008 Simmer Olympics in Beijing she wan fower medals: a gowd an three siller. She wis subsequently describit bi Paul Chingoka, heid o the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee, as "our naitional treasur".[4] Zimbabwean Preses Robert Mugabe haes cried her "a gowden girl,"[6] an awairdit her US$100,000 in cash for her 2008 Olympic performance.[7]
