Kirsty Leigh Coventry (born 16 September 1983 in Harare, Zimbabwe) is a Zimbabwean swimmer an umwhile warld record holder. She attendit an swam competitively for Auburn University in Alabama, in the Unitit States. At the 2004 Simmer Olympics, in Athens, Greece, Coventry wan three Olympic medals: a gowd, a siller, an a bronze, while in the 2008 Simmer Olympics in Beijing she wan fower medals: a gowd an three siller. She wis subsequently describit bi Paul Chingoka, heid o the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee, as "our naitional treasur". Zimbabwean Preses Robert Mugabe haes cried her "a gowden girl," an awairdit her US$100,000 in cash for her 2008 Olympic performance.
