Al-Qadmus (Arabic: القدموس, spelled al-Qadmous an aw) is a toun in northwastren Sirie, admeenistratively pairt o the Tartus Govrenorate, locatit northeast o Tartus an juist east o the Mediterranean coast. Nearbi localities include Kaff al-Jaa an Masyaf tae the east, Wadi al-'Uyun an al-Shaykh Badr tae the sooth, Hammam Wasel, al-Qamsiyah an Maten al-Sahel tae the soothwast, Taanita tae the wast, al-Annazeh tae the northwast an Deir Mama tae the northeast. Accordin tae the Sirie Central Bureau o Statistics, al-Qadmus haed a population o 5,551 in the 2004 census.[1]
