Kumlinge is a municipality consistin o a group o islands in Åland, an autonomous territory o Finland. Kumlinge, which is the name o the lairgest island in the group an aw, means "rocky passage."
The municipality haes a population o 343 (30 September 2012)[2] and covers an area of 860.38 square kilometres (332.19 sq mi) of which 761.12 km2 (293.87 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is Expression error: Unrecognized word "automatic". inhabitants per square kilometre (Expression error: Unrecognized word "automatic". /sq mi).

In the 20t century the population o Kumlinge slowly began tae decline.
