Volochysk Raion (Ukrainian: Волочи́ський район) is a raion (admeenistrative destrict) o the Khmelnytskyi Oblast. As o 2004, its population is 58,900, its aurie is 1,103 square kilometres, an the admeenistrative centre is Volochysk. The population o the Volochysky Raion (as o 2004) wis 58,900.

Geografie

Volochysk Raion is sooth o Teofipol Raion, wast o Krasyliv Raion an Khmelnytskyi, north o Horodok Raion, an east o Ternopil Oblast.

The Buzhok, Grabarka, Zbruch, Sluch, Ushuka an ither rivers flow throu the destrict. The destrict is the source o the Soothren Bug River (near the veelage Kholodets). During Warld War II thare wis a hivy loss o life an property in the destrict. Thoosans o residents wur killed or transportit tae Germany tae labor camps. Efter the war the property losses wur estimatit at 107.8 million rubles, based on prewar values.
