Ostrobothnie (Swadish: Österbotten; Finnish: Pohjanmaa) is a region o Finland. It is locatit in Wastren Finland. It borders the regions Central Ostrobothnie, Soothren Ostrobothnie, an Satakunta an is ane o the fower regions makin up the historical province o Ostrobothnie.
Ostrobothnia is ane o the twa Finnish regions wi a Swadish speakin majority, the ither bein Åland. The Swadish-speakers mak up 51.2%.[1] Despite this, the region is linguistically heterogeneous, encompassin baith exclusively Finnish an Swadish-speakin municipalities in addition tae bilingual anes.
