Mapimí is a ceety an municipal seat o the municipality o Mapimí in the Mexican state o Durango.[1]

As o the 1995 INEGI census, the population o the ceety wis 4,765.[2]

The Ojuela Mine, aboot 3 km. sootheast o Mapimí, is a famous locality for mineral specimens, especially adamite.[3]
