Maçanet de la Selva (Catalan pronunciation: [məsəˈnɛd də ɫə ˈsɛɫβə]) is a Spainyie municipality in the province o Girona, situatit in the comarca o the Selva, Catalonie. It is a important communications junction, whaur the routes frae the coast meet those frae the Prelittoral Depression tae shape a single axis north towards Girona an the French border. RENFE railwey lines run both sooth-east (wi the N-II road) towards Blanes an the coasts o the Maresme an sooth-wast (wi the A-7 autopista an the C-251 road) towards Granollers: the station is shared wi the neebourin municipality o Massanes.
