The leopard cat (Prionailurus bengalensis) is a smaw wild cat native tae Sooth, Sootheast an East Asie. Syne 2002 it haes been assessed as Least Concern on the IUCN Reid Leet as it is widely distributit but threatened bi habitat loss an huntin in pairts o its range.^[1]

Leopard cat subspecies differ widely in fur colour, tail lenth, skull shape an size o carnassials.^[3]
