Bahía Honda is a municipality an ceety in the Artemisa Province o Cuba. Afore 2011 belangit tae Pinar del Río Province. It is locatit on the northren shore o the island, in an inlet o the Florida Straits, 70 km (43 mi) wast o Havana. The sheltered bay that gives the name o the municipality contains an industrial port. It marks the eastren extend o the Colorados Airchipelago.
Bahía Honda wis ane o the naval bases leased tae the US unner the Platt Amendment, but abandoned some years later in turn for an expansion o the aurie leased aroond Guantánamo Bay.[3]
