Azerbaijanfilm
Azerbaijanfilm (Azerbaijani: Azərbaycanfilm) is an Azerbaijani state fillom an animation studio company. It is heidquartered in the caipital ceety Baku. They mainly make filloms an sometimes documentaries.
Historie
[eedit | eedit soorce]"Azerbaijanfilm" wis establisht in 1920 as a photo-cinema depairtment at the Azerbaijan SSR Fowk Commissariat (Govrement Meenistry). In 1923, it wis renamed tae "Azerbaijani Photo-Cinema Office" (AFKI). There were several name changes, includin "Azdovletkino" (1926–1930), "Azkino" (1930–1933), "Azfilm" (1933), "Azdovletkinosenaye" (1934), "Azerfilm" (1935–1940), an "Baku Cinema Studio" (1941–1959). In 1960, it wis renamed tae "Azerbaijanfilm" cinema studio an named after the Azerbaijani poet Jafar Jabbarly.
Currently, "Azerbaijanfilm" is a part o the Meenistry o Cultur an Tourism o Azerbaijan.[1]
