Malmö Municipality (Swadish: Malmö kommun or Malmö stad‎) is a municipality in Skåne Coonty in Swaden. Its seat is locatit in the ceety o Malmö.

The municipal legislative body o the municipality is the 61-member municipal assembly (kommunfullmäktige), electit by proportional representation for a fower-year term. The assembly appoints the municipality's main govrenin bodies, the 11-member executive committee (kommunstyrelsen) an the 8 govrenin commissioners. The executive committee an the commissioners are heidit bi the Mayor (kommunstyrelsens ordförande).

The Mayor o the Ceety o Malmö is Mr. Ilmar Reepalu, in office syne 1995, o the Social Democratic Pairty.[3]
