Cannot understand my ancestral home dialect of English[eedit soorce]

Let's get this cleared. I'm no Scotsman except by ancestry, even then not pure. I'm no pedigree. Scots looks Mac a'ronic to me (get the pun?) I'm actually making a story about 3 Englishmen who are all culturally deaf, one of them is a CI user. It's a fiction, but it's scientifically plausible. They all know what you guys would call 'the Inglis leid' in writing, 2 of 3 in speech, but they all get confused when they hear a Scotsman. They also get confused when they see a deaf Scotsman signing. .:)!#JJhashisreasons (talk) 16:04, 12 Julie 2012 (UTC)#!(:.[Replie]

Not a dialect. Scots is a language in it's own right as it did not develop out of English, but developed out of the same languages that English did, but with a different mix (Brythonic Celtic and Gaelic). But aside from that cool. (talk) 07:54, 5 Januar 2019 (UTC)[Replie]
