Sarkand Destrict or Sarkant Destrict (Kazakh: Сарқан ауданы) is a destrict o Almaty Province in Kazakhstan. The admeenistrative centre o the destrict is the toun o Sarkand.[1] Population: 41,016 (2009 Census results);[2] 47,808 (1999 Census results).[2]
