Qashqai (spelt Qashqay, Kashkai, Kashkay, Qashqa'i, an Qashqayi anaa) is a Turkic leid spaken bi the Qashqai, an ethnic group livin mainly in the Fars region o Iran. Estimates o the number o Qashqai speakers vary; Ethnologue gies a figure o 1,000,000.^[2] The Qashqai language is closely relatit tae Azerbaijani, an some linguists^[wha?] actually consider it tae be a dialect o that leid.

Like Sooth Azerbaijani in Iran, Qashqai uises the Persian modification o the Arabic alphabet. The Qashqai speak Persian, an uise it as their literary leid.
