Matsuyama (松山市 Matsuyama-shi) is the caipital ceety o Ehime Prefectur on the iland o Shikoku in Japan. It is locatit on the northeastren portion o the Dōgo Plain. Its name means "pine mountain." The ceety wis foondit on December 15, 1889.
