Llanfwrog is a veelage in Anglesey, in north-wast Wales. It lees aboot 4 mile tae the northeast o Holyhead.[1] The veelage lees near the coast aboot a mile east o Beach Gribin. A kintra road connects it wi the A5025 road, ane mile east, an Llanfaethlu, approximately 2.5 mile tae the north.
Accordin tae tradeetion, it foondit bi St. Llanfwrog Mwrog. The anerlie ither place that is associatit wi the name o a saunt Llanfwrog is Llanfwrog, Denbighshire. In the Middle Ages Llanfwrog parish lay in the commote Talybolion in the Hundred of Cemaes. The kirk belangit tae the rectory o the parish o Llan bi the aichteent century.[2]
