Lewis (Scots Gaelic: Leòdhas, pronounced [ʎɔː.əs̪], also Isle of Lewis) is the northren pairt o Lewis an Harris, the lairgest island o the Wastren Isles or Ooter Hebrides (a airchipelago in Scotland). The total aurie o Lewis is 683 square mile (1,770 km2).[1]
