Hera pairticipatit in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2009 wi the sang "Someday", placin seicont, and won the OGAE Second Chance Contest 2009. She representit Iceland at Eurovision Song Contest 2010 wi the sang "Je ne sais quoi" ("A daena ken wha").

Hera wis a memmer o the backin choir for Eurobandið in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 an for Yohanna in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow. She haes toured wi Björk an Sigur Rós.
