James Gordon Brown (b. 20 Februar 1951 in Giffnock, suburbs o Glesga, Scotland) he haes twa brithers : John an Andrew. His fither John Ebenezer Brown wis presbyterian pastor o Scotland Kirk an died in 1998, bein 84 years auld. His mither Elizabeth died in 2004, at 86 years auld.

He is the Member o Pairlament for Kirkcawdy an Cowdenbeath.
